Bread and oil, countryside and sun, hospitality and culinary excellence, a lot of green and no smog. Nothing else. That’s why Jennifer and Kenny have chosen Sicily as the right place to celebrate their marriage.One morning in June, fresh and sunny, in the Mandranova farm. A garden of palm trees and African plants are the backdrop to the old house, the restored train station and the “Gebbia”, formerly used for agricultural irrigation, today become a great pool. It is nice to see the guests gathered in their “breakfast” with that lightheartedness that only the colors of Sicily can give.Jennifer, cuddled by her bridesmaids dressed in white lace, after a sweet breakfast in her room, wearing his unique dress:unique in every way. A lightweight fabric with different stones and pearls associated with an embroidered net that gives lightness to the whole dress down along the legs, hiding partially the silver color shoes, with cork wedge hells. I noticed that during the preparations was hidden a coin in the bride’s shoes. Six pence ?! The bridesmaids have done it with such attention !! Olive groves and Sicilian music as background, a few meters from “Gebbia”, Jennifer and Kenny  exchanged the rings. All very sweet and elegant. Bride and groom together for ever…. the guests thrilled, the bridesmaids and the witnesses with “tears in their eyes.”And after, everyone at the table! Four Picciotti play Sicilian ballads, and all sit under the trees that shade this Sicilian lunch. A real feast, music, good food and lots of fun.

Pane e olio , campagna e sole, accoglienza e eccellenza culinaria , tanto verde e poco smog .

Nient’altro. Ecco perche Jennifer e Kenny hanno scelto la Sicilia come terra per celebrare il loro matrimonio. Una mattina di Giugno, fresca e soleggiata , in azienda agricola Mandranova. Un Giardino di Palme e piante africane fanno da cornice all’antico Casale, alla stazione ferroviaria ristrutturata e alla “Gebbia”, anticamente utilizzata per l’irrigazione agricola, diventata oggi una suggestiva piscina. E’ bello vedere gli invitati riuniti nel loro “breakfast” con quella spensieratezza che solo i colori della Sicilia possono dare.Jennifer , coccolata dalle sue damigelle vestite di pizzo bianco, dopo una dolce colazione in camera , indossa il suo abito particolarissimo e unico in tutto e per tutto. Un tessuto leggerissimo con diverse pietre e perle incastonate associato ad una rete ricamata che dona leggerezza a tutto il vestito che scende lungo le gambe nascondendo in parte le scarpe, di color argento con zeppa in sughero. Ho notato che durante i preparativi hanno nascosto una moneta nelle scarpe della sposa. SixPence?! Così le damigelle hanno fatto con tanta attenzione!! Ulivi e musica siciliana da sfondo, a pochi metri dalla “Gebbia”,Jennifer e Kenny si sono scambiati gli anelli. Tutto molto dolce ed elegante. Loro insieme, gli invitati emozionati , le  damigelle e i testimoni con “le lacrime agli occhi”. E si, tutti a tavola! Quattro Picciotti suonano ballate siciliane, e tutti seduti sotto questi alberi che ombreggiano questo pranzo siciliano. Una vera e propria festa, musica ,buon cibo e tanta allegria.
